Langford Lodge
Station Complement Squadron Base Air Depot #3: activated 29th July 1944 at Langford Lodge and stationed there until c. 30th September 1945 (moved to Taunton, England)
7th Air Depot Group Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron: stationed from 1942 until c. 29th December 1942 (moved to Warton, Lancashire). They were assigned to Eighth Air Force 26th August 1942
Postal Section, Headquarters VIII Air Force Composite Command (Army Post
Office [APO] 636): stationed from August 1942 and disbanded there on 18th December 1943
37th Station Complement Squadron: stationed at Maghaberry 30th March 1944 and moved to Langford Lodge 12th May 1944 where they stayed until 25th July 1944 (moved to Haydock, Lancashire).
38th Signal Company, Service Group: stationed from 23rd December 1942 until 15th May 1943 (moved to Camp Griffis, Middlesex). They were assigned to VIII Air Force Composite Command 6 February 1943 and were re-designated 4th May 1943 as the 1038th Signal Company, Service Group
311th Ferrying Squadron: stationed from 8th May 1944 until 5th September 1944 (moved to Grove, Berkshire). They were activated 1st November 1943 at Maghaberry
312th Ferrying Squadron: stationed from 12th May 1944 until 18th September 1944 (moved to Warton, Lancashire). They were activated 1st November 1943 at Maghaberry
321st Air Transport Squadron: stationed from 12th May 1944 until 5th September 1944 (moved to Grove, Berkshire). They were activated 1st November 1943 at Maghaberry and were re-designated 24th June 1944 as 321st Squadron (C&M).
Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, 325th Air Service Group: stationed from 6th May 1944 until 26th June 1944 (moved to Burtonwood, Lancaster)
328th Service Squadron [later 328th Air Service Squadron]: stationed from 1st May 1944 until 26th June 1945 (moved to Burtonwood, Lancaster). They were assigned to the 8th Air Force Service Command 14th December 1943
343d Service Squadron [later 343d Air Service Squadron]: stationed from 6th May 1944 until 26th June 1945 (moved to Burtonwood, Lancaster). They were assigned to 8th Air Force Service Command 14th December 1943 and re-assigned to United States Strategic Air Forces 8th March 1944
Station Complement Squadron (SP), Army Air Force Station 597 (Provisional): they were organised at Langford Lodge 24th February 1944 as an element of Eight Air Force. They were re-designated circa 3 March 1944 as 597th Station Complement
Squadron (Special) (Provisional)
694th Quartermaster Company (Medium Maintenance) (Aviation): stationed from 1942 as an element of the Eight Air Force. They were re-designated three times: (1) 9th November 1942 as 1694th Ordnance Company Medium Maintenance Aviation (Q); (2) 23rd November 1942 as 1694th Ordnance Medium Maintenance Company, Aviation; and (3) 11th June 1943 as 1694th Ordnance Supply and Maintenance Company (Aviation)
759th Quartermaster Truck Company (Colored): stationed from 17th August 1942. They were attached to the 7th Group at Langford Lodge Air Depot and re-designated 19 September 1942 as 1647th Quartermaster Company (Colored)
769th Ordnance Company, Aviation (Air Depot): stationed from 17th August 1942 as element of VIII Service Command. They were assigned 31st August 1942 to Eighth Air Force and disbanded 2nd October 1942
897th Military Police Company, Aviation: stationed from 2nd December 1942 until 25th February 1944 when they were disbanded
984th Military Police Company, Aviation: stationed from 26th January 1944 until 28th June 1944 (moved to Baverstock, Wiltshire)
1145th Military Police Company, Aviation: stationed from 15th July 1943 until 20 June 1945 according to Unit Data Card but know to be at Little Stoughton, England 26th January 1944.
1195th Military Police Company, Aviation: stationed from 9th October 1943 and disbanded there 25th February 1944. They were an element of 8th Air Force Service
Command
1694th Ordnance Supply and Maintenance Company, Aviation: no date given, possibly by 9th September 1944 according to Unit Data Card.
1947th Quartermaster Truck Company (Colored): stationed from 17th August 1942 until 16th June 1943. They were a subordinate element of 7th Air Depot Group and re-designated 19th September 1942 as 1947th Quartermaster Truck Company, Aviation (Colored)
2211th Quartermaster Truck Company, Aviation: stationed from 20th January 1944 until 24th July 1944 (moved to Eccles, Norfolk). They were an element of United States Strategic Air Forces
